A Swedish Christmas – Let Yourself be Moved!
Most welcome to enjoy a Christmas concert with the Vocal Ensemble and instrumentalists. Otto Olsson’s classic The Son of God is Born weaves together a Swedish folk tune with Luther’s Christmas hymn Vom Himmel hoch. Jan Sandström’s cinematic version of Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming, Agneta Sköld’s There is no rose, and a world première of Emil Karsendal’s Snö (Snow) are also part of this all-Swedish Christmas Concert.
One of Sweden’s premier folk musicians, Torbjörn Näsbom on key harp, renowned accordeonist David Wahlén and Aaron Sunstein at the organ contribute their musical magic together with the Vocal Ensemble.
